Installation
5.1 Requirements
Consider the following requirements when selecting the mounting
position:

Ensure that the mounting position and the holder / protective
housing provide sufficient stability.
n
Ensure that the mounting position is in the right place:
–
The minimum distance between the device ( Fig. 17/1) and
the floor is 200 cm ( Fig. 17/A).
–
As far as possible, the view between the device ( Fig. 17/1)
and people's heads should be unobstructed.
–
As far as possible, the monitored area ( Fig. 17/2) must be
free of interfering objects.
–
The flow of persons in a monitored area should be through
the center.
–
The counting line ( Fig. 17/3) should be in the central third
of the monitored area ( Fig. 17/2) so that persons can be
recorded before they cross the counting line.
–
The begin/end of the monitored area should be at least
40 cm away from the counting line ( Fig. 17/B and C) so
that persons can be recorded before they cross the
counting line.

Ensure that there are no sight restrictions and that the area is
sufficiently illuminated.
