5.2 Recessed mounting
For recessed mounting our installation kit (e.g. part no.
226.168-007) is suggested.
1.
Place the device ( Fig. 18/1) in holder ( Fig. 18/3).
2.
Use screws ( Fig. 18/2) with locking washers to fix.
3.
Repeat on the other side.
4.
Place mounted unit ( Fig. 19/2) into the installation frame
The installation frame has marks ( Fig. 19/3) on
both sides for different angles.
Place the cut-out ( Fig. 19/1) of the holder on the
side with the chosen angle.
5.
Ensure that the cut-out matches with the mark of the chosen
angle ( Fig. 20/4).
6.
Use screws ( Fig. 20/5) with locking washers to fix.
7.
Repeat on the other side.
8.
Use screws ( Fig. 20/6), locking washers, washers and screw
nuts to fix the holder.
9.
Use the ground stud ( Fig. 20/3) to ground the device.
10.
Connect the grounding cable to the equipotential bonding ter-
minal.
11.
Connect the network cable ( Fig. 20/2).
12.
Plug in the configured D-Sub ( Fig. 20/1) connector. If you
don't use I/O ports or predefined door configurations with the
APS-R-PoE skip this step.
13.
Place the mounted unit in the recess.
14.
Fix the installation frame with 4 screws.
