BACKUP BATTERIES
A “Keep Alive” voltage is generated by three AA
nickel cadmium (NiCad) batteries (supplied in the
tool kit). These batteries supply a voltage, to hold
each module’s logic state during power outages,
so the console powers back up in the same state it
was in when power was lost. For information on
installing these batteries, see pages 2-4 and 2-5.
