ATLAS Analogue
When planning the installation, keep the following restrictions in mind:
a.
The pump module, heat exchanger and transmitter’s total coolant plumbing cir-
cuit must not exceed 40 meters, horizontally.
b.
The cooling control panel should be mounted relatively close to the pump
module.
NOTE:
If any of these restrictions cannot be met, a site-specific modification may be
required. Contact your Harris representative for modifications.
c.
It is recommended to have the front of the cooling control panel visible while
standing in front of the transmitter.
!
WARNING:
DISABLE AND LOCK OUT STATION PRIMARY POWER BEFORE PRIMARY POWER
CABLES ARE CONNECTED TO THE EQUIPMENT.
Set the pump module and heat exchanger in place.
The pump module may be installed inside the building or outside, near the heat
exchanger. It should be located in a manner which will provide access to all sides for
ease of maintenance, with a minimum of 36 inches clearance on all sides of the module
for access.
a.
Carefully place unit onto concrete pad
b.
Fasten unit to the concrete pad
The heat exchanger assembly should be located outside the building on a level concrete

connections minimize plumbing elbows and complex plumbing assemblies. In addition,
the heat exchanger should be oriented so that access to the fans, fan motors and
electrical panel can be accomplished.

CAUTION:
ENSURE THE PROPER EQUIPMENT IS AVAILABLE TO SAFELY INSTALL THE UNIT.
EXTREME CARE SHOULD BE EXERCISED DURING THE FOLLOWING STEPS TO
AVOID EQUIPMENT DAMAGE OR PERSONNEL INJURY.
