2. By looking through the slot, you will see the SIM card slot with a black locking lever to
the left of it.
Holding the SIM card level with the locking lever, gently push the SIM card into the
exposed slot until it clicks in. The notched end should be inserted first, with the gold
contacts facing up – as shown in the illustration.
3. Using a small flat screwdriver,
gently
slide the black locking lever to the right – as far
as it will go - it only moves a couple of mm.

4. Replace the access cover.
To remove the SIM card:
1. Remove the modem access cover as previously described.
2. Using a small flat screwdriver, gently slide the SIM locking lever to the left as far as it
will go.
3. Gently push the SIM card into the modem – it will unlock and partially pop out.
4. Use tweezers to pull out the SIM card completely.
IMPORTANT: You should feel slight resistance while pushing the card into the slot. If you
do not or you can freely move the SIM from side to side by more than 1 mm you have
missed the slot. You must remove the SIM and try again!
