7.8 Relay outputs and signalling
Cylinder cam monitoring
The cylinder cam monitoring is output potential-free via the “Cylinder cam monitoring” relay contact
(pin 07/red and pin 11/yellow).
Lever handle monitoring
The operation of the lever handle is output via the “Lever handle monitoring” relay contact
(pin 03/red-blue and pin 05/violet).
Latchbolt and door contact monitoring locked
When the latchbolt is in the “Locked position”, the relay contact (pin 12/green and Pin 08/blue) is
closed. In addition, a positive potential must be applied at the door contact input (pin 01/brown-
green) by connecting a door contact (see “4.3 Wiring diagrams”, page 51). If this is not the case,
the lock retracts the latchbolt.
Latchbolt monitoring unlocked
The “Unlocked” relay contact (pin 02/white-green and pin 04/grey-pink) is closed as soon as the
latchbolt is fully retracted.
Signalling
In addition to the function indications at the relay outputs, the motor lock provides status reports
via the LEDs “Service mode” (blue) and “Overload” (red). Both LEDs can be recognised in the lower
area of the latchbolt hole.
Via colour and flashing codes, the LEDs indicate the following states:
Status
Colour code/blink
code
Cause/incorrect operation
Remedy
Overload
Lights up red
The motor could not lock/unlock within
1 s, e. g. due to a stiff latchbolt.
Ends automatically after a locking was
carried out automatically. If not, carry
out the motor-driven locking manually.
Operate the profile cylinder when the
motor is running.
Remove the key.
Jammed latchbolt
with daytime
release
The status report “Jammed latchbolt
with daytime release” cannot be deleted.
See “9. Troubleshooting”, page 59
“Lock does not unlock”. This must
also be accompanied by a successful
actuation of the lock by the motor!
Voltage test
Red flashing
200 ms on/200 ms off
When staring up the lock, a voltage test
is carried out (> 21.6 V).
Goes out if the voltage test was
successful.
If the LED does not go out, check
voltage.
Manipulation
Red flashing
1 s on/1 s off
Allow the latchbolt to snap out 3 times
with the door open.
Goes out if the door contact has been
detected with extended latch.
Service bus
Lights up blue
Service bus is active when starting up
the lock.
Ends automatically after 15 s.
Service modus
(programming)
Service mode is activated by turning the
cylinder locking cam (3 times).
Turn the cylinder locking cam back and
forth 3 times.
Repairing
I/O module
2 s blue flashing
200 ms on/200 ms off
With the lever handle, turn the cylinder
locking cam back and forth 3 times.
Ends automatically.
