3.4 Installation in the lock recess
Fully insert the plug of the connecting cable into the socket on the back side of the lock.
Insert the lock upright into the lock recess, in doing so insert the cable into the lock recess.
Provide a cable loop of approx. 50 mm!
Be careful not to buckle or strain the cable. Do not pull the cable taut!
Attach the lock at the designated fixing points on the door.
When using the lock variant “with top-locking feature”, the screw of the top fastening
must not exceed the maximum screw-in length “S” (see table).
A screw that is too long knocks against the vertical rod and impairs the function of the lock.
