After you have clicked RUN/SETUP from the
setup screen, you will see the Run screen
(2 windows at right).
You will need to click the
Mark button on the SIR 3000 to start data
collection.
Each successive line can be started
with the remote marker switch on your antenna.
The Prompt Area tells you positioning
information and also what to do during
collection. The image at the right tells you at that
you are on your second line, you are scanning
parallel to the X direction, and that you should be
on the 1 foot mark along your Y baseline.
Once you have clicked the Mark button, you will see COLLECT DATA in the prompt area.
Wait for the
green light to come on next to the RUN/STOP button.
Collect the profile line. Once you have gone the
distance that you specified in the Setup, the SIR 3000 will stop collecting data automatically. It will save
the file and automatically increment to the next line.
If you need to skip or redo a profile, use the arrow keys to highlight that file and then press Mark. The
new data file will then be stored with the proper positioning info and any old data will be overwritten.
(previous section, 2 windows)
You can go directly into Playback by clicking the Playback
Mode button.
Your data will be automatically saved and it will generate
a top-down view.
Depending on the size of your collected area, this could
take anywhere from seconds to minutes. Be patient.
