Teletext …
… is a free service offered by TV stations with the
TV signal which is processed by the recorder and is
displayed on the TV screen.
Teletext consists of a large number of text pages,
for example news on sport and politics, financial
news, weather reports and much more information.
The teletext offered and the organisation and
arrangement of individual pages vary from station
to station.
Use the buttons on the remote control for this
function.

Preparation
Switch the TV set on.
Select the programme position for the video
recorder on the TV set (AV programme position).

Select the TV station
Select the TV station whose teletext pages you wish
to view using the
DC
buttons.
The programme position of one or two figures
can also be selected using the numbered buttons

TOP text mode (Table Of Pages)
Various subjects, sections and individual pages can
be called up from an index at the touch of a button.
Select teletext by pressing the
h
button followed
by the numbered button

– The teletext page 100 (= teletext index) appears.
Select the subject by pressing the
Z
C/S (blue)
button
repeatedly.
– The blue info line displays the next subject.
Select the subject chosen by pressing the
Z
(yellow)
button repeatedly.
– The yellow info line displays the next section of
the the subject chosen.
If the section selected has several individual pages,
these can be called up. Advance using the
Z
ED/EW
(green)
button, or reverse using the
Z
VPS/PDC (red)
button.
Teletext pages can also be selected directly using
the numbered buttons
