8.1.2 Batch mode
• In the main menu, switch to the "Automatic start" menu using
the [F1] key.
Display page 1
The x.x field shows the set batch concentration.
• Activate or deactivate the system using the [Enter] key.
The display changes from "start?" to "active", or from "active"
to "start?". The display shows the most important information
about the operation of the system.
Further information, such as levels, dosing pumps and bypass
water, can be obtained by scrolling with the arrow keys to the
pages 2 and 3.
Display page 2
Level
• Use the [F1] key to switch to the "Level" menu.
• Use the [Escape] key to return.
On page 2, scroll on with the arrow keys:
Display page 3
Dosing pump
• Use the [F1] key to switch to the "Dosing pumps" menu.
The Hall sensor signals and the signals from the flow
controllers can be checked in this menu.
H = X: Hall sensor signals
D = X: flow controller signals.
The default value changes as the installation runtime
progresses, whereby the following evaluation is decisive.
• Use the [Escape] key to return.
Bypass water
Use the [F2] key to switch to the "Bypass water" menu.
The target and actual value for the bypass water can be
checked in this menu. The limits can also be changed in this
menu.
Changing the limit
• Use the [F1] key to switch to the input field -50 or +20 %
• Enter the value by pressing the [UP] or [DOWN] keys (to
change the number), and the [LEFT] and [RIGHT] arrow keys
(to change the input position).
• Switching from -XX to +50 or from +20 % to -XX is carried out
using the [F1] key.
• Press the [Enter] key to confirm the entry.
• Use the [Escape] key to return.

Note
The values displayed here are not identical to the
dosing stroke details from the individual dosing
pumps, e.g. 120 strokes/min, because the calculation
does not relate to 1 minute.
D = H
Each of the Hall sensor signals from the dosing
pump is fed back by the flow controller.
D > H
More flow controller signals are fed back, i.e. if the
deviation is too large, this reduces the precision of
the flow monitor, although the system keeps running
(there is no error message).
D < H
Too few dosing controller signals are fed back,
the system goes into malfunction mode. The dosing
controller settings have to be checked.
Note
The installation is correctly set at D = H whereby a
few extra dosing controller signals (D > H) have no
bearing on the precision of the system.

If a new system size is set, the preset limits for the
new system are loaded.
Note
In batch mode, the limit values for the bypass water
can only be changed within the range ± 20 %.
