7.4 Venting of the bypass line
In order to ensure that the installations work properly, the bypass
water line must be vented each time it is commissioned.
• In the main menu, switch to the "Service mode" menu using
the [F3] key. If necessary, use the arrow keys [RIGHT] and
(LEFT] to scroll.
• Use the [F1] key to switch to the "Venting" menu.
• Use the [F1] key to activate the bypass line (solenoid valve or
bypass pump).
"Bypass <ON>" appears on the display. The bypass line can now
be vented.
7.4.1 Bypass pump (option)
Use the [F1] key to activate or deactivate the bypass, i.e. the
solenoid valve or the bypass pump.
• Turn the vent screw on the front of the pump motor
counter-clockwise, and unscrew it fully using a spanner.
• After venting, refit and tighten the vent screw (1).
Use the [F1] key to switch the bypass off again; the current
status, "Bypass <OFF>", appears on the display.

7.4.2 Venting of the dosing pumps (HCl and NaClO

)

Venting the pumps
Before the dosing pump is switched on, the dosing medium
should be sucked through the overflow hose (3) by the pump with
the aid of the syringe, which is included. Insert the syringe onto
the overflow hose (3) at the end of the suction line, and carefully
draw the dosing medium through the pump until the pre-chamber
is filled with water. Open the spindle (4) (normal operation).
Commission the dosing pumps using the [F2] (HCl pump) and
[F3] (NaClO
2
pump) keys. As long as the respective keys are
pressed, the pumps remain switched on. The display shows e.g.
"HCl pump <ON>".
The pumps are switched off when the buttons are released.
The display shows e.g. "HCl pump <OFF>".
• Open the dosing head venting spindle (1) by turning it
counter-clockwise.
• Switch on the dosing pumps using the [F2] or [F3] keys.
• Set the stroke adjustment knob to 90-100 %.
• Close the venting spindle once dosing medium flows back into
the tank bubble-free out of the vent hose (2).
• If the venting process is not performed correctly or if it is
interrupted, briefly close and re-open the vent screw (1)
repeatedly (max. 1 turn).
• The pumps are switched off when the buttons are released.
