CPU Busy Clock
This feature provides a visual indicator of when the CPU is busy (Figure 2-14).
2.3.8.2
Keyboard Abort
This feature provides a method to abort any time consuming process that keeps the CPU busy. The keys
able to abort a process are:

CW KEY
•
LIST
•
MANUAL
•
FREQUENCY SWEEP
•
MARKER
•
POWER LEVEL
•
POWER SWEEP
•
ALC
•
PRESET
Any of these keys will cause the 12000A to switch to the corresponding menu
EXCEPT
the
MANUAL
key. The
MANUAL
key can be used to abort without switching menus, though the display will NOT be
refreshed. Any data calculated before a process is aborted is valid and can be used. For example, if a list
range calculation of 1000 points is aborted after 500 points have been calculated, those points are a
valid list that can be used or discarded.
