AT+CLIP Calling Line Identification Presentation
refers to the supplementary service CLIP (Calling Line Identification Presentation) that enables a
called subscriber to get the calling line identity (CLI) of the calling party when receiving a mobile terminated call.
The
write command enables or disables the presentation of the CLI at the TE. It has no effect on the
execution of the supplementary service CLIP in the network.

read command gives the status of
, and also triggers an interrogation of the provision status
of the CLIP service according to 3GPP TS 22.081
). If no SIM card is available or the SIM-PIN
is not entered, the command response is "ERROR".
