9.  2850T-3850T CONFIGURATION IN  GF_EXPRESS

9.1.  Target Selection

This chapter describes the configuration methods for products 2850T and 3850T in the GF_eXpress Gefran product confi-
gurator 
The starting condition for proper functioning is the presence of products 2850T-3850T in the catalogue installed on the 
user’s computer.

Products 2850T and 3850T belong to the Controller category, 

and so the choice of model to be configured with GF_eXpress 

will take place through the following selection process

After choosing the model, the user must set:

1.  the FW version

2.  the network parameters (IP address)

the target to be configured, and decide whether to work:

•  directly connected to a specific target (with the “Online 

mode” option enabled) 

•  not directly connected to a specific target (with the 

“Online mode” option disabled)
