to access the digital signal config-
uration.
The default variable associated with the digital control
of channel 1 (DO1) is DO_01. This command will be
associated with the HEAT action of the PID controller.
The default variable associated with the digital control
of channel 2 (DO2) is DO_02. This command will be as-
sociated with the COOL function of the PID controller.
The default variable associated with the digital control
of channel 3 (DO3) is DO_03. This command will be
associated with the PID controller's maximum alarm
state.
The default variable associated with the digital control
of channel 4 (DO4) is DO_04. This command will be
associated with the minimum alarm status of the PID
controller.
7. Press the
button twice to return to the HW CFG
menu.
8. Select
ALARM CFG
to access the alarm message
configuration.
In the “Name” column, change the alarm name by entering
AL1_HIGH_T1, and in the “String” column, enter the mes-
sage “HIGH ALARM PID1”, which will be matched with the
first alarm threshold on the PID controller.
Edit the text of the second line with the name AL2_
LOW_T2 and the message "LOW ALARM PID1", which
will be matched to the second PID controller alarm
threshold.
AL1_HIGH_T1 and AL2_LOW_T2 will be the names
identifying the alarms in the configuration screens, in
the custom pages and in the logical functions, while
HIGH ALARM PID1 and LOW ALARM PID1 will be the
messages that appear in the list of active alarms and
the alarm history.
9. Press the
button once to return to the HW CFG
menu.
10. Select
PID CFG
to access the PID controller parameter
configuration.
11. Select
Overview
to access the PID control type config-
uration page.
The default operating mode is base PID control. PID
base means that PID Cascade, Valves, or Ratio are not
enabled.
