Warning!
Repairs to the controller must only be carried out by Gefran's suitably trained and authorised technical
personnel. Any attempt to repair or modify the controller hardware features by unauthorised personnel will void the
warranty.
8.1. Gasket replacement
With time and based on environmental conditions, the sealing gasket can lose its features.
Periodically replace the gasket between the interface and panel to preserve the IP65 front guard.
To replace the gasket between the box and the panel, disassemble and reassemble the interface from the panel.
8.2. Configuration cloning
You can clone the controller configuration on another con-
troller using the following procedure:
1. Insert a blank USB key into the master controller inter-
face.
2. Log in as a Level 2 user.
3. Select the SETUP menu, SETUP MGR sub-menu,
EXPORT SETUP sub-menu.
4. Copy all the configuration recipes to the USB key. A
folder to hold the files will automatically be created in
the USB key.
5. Select the SERVICE menu, PROGRAMS MGR sub-
menu.
6. Copy all the program recipes to the USB key. A folder
to hold the files will automatically be created in the
USB key. At the end, remove the USB key.
7. Select the SETUP menu, SETUP MGR submenu, IM-
AGE submenu.

8. Copy all image files onto the USB key. A folder to hold
the files will automatically be created in the USB key.
9. Insert the USB key in the interface of the controller for
which the USB key is to be cloned, and log in as a level
2 user. The order of the next series of operations is
essential for cloning.
10. Select the SETUP menu, SETUP MGR submenu, IM-
AGE submenu, and copy the files from the USB key to
the controller.
11. Select the SERVICE menu, PROGRAMS MGR sub-
menu and copy the files from the USB key to the
controller.
12. At the end of the copying operation, take out the USB
key.
13. Select the SETUP menu, SETUP MGR sub-menu,
EXPORT SETUP sub-menu and copy the files from the
USB key to the controller.
Only use a soft cloth dampened with water or alcohol to clean the front panel and the case. Do not use solvents derived
from hydrocarbons (triethylene, benzene, etc.).
Modules do not require cleaning. Do not use compressed air to remove dust from electronic boards. If necessary use a
clean brush with soft bristles.
The 2850T and 3850T controllers must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
Some of the components used in the devices can cause damage to the environment if incorrectly disposed.
