the D.20 RIO
Backing Up and Restoring the D.20 RIO
This chapter describes how to perform a backup and restoration of the D.20 RIO*
configuration data from a source D.20 RIO to a Windows PC using FTP/SFTP over a
network connection.
Pre-requisites
The following items are required for the configuration backup or restoration:

Windows PC with WinScp tool, which:

Is used to copy files/directories to/from remote devices that support SCP or SFTP.
When connected to a remote device, the WinSCP interface provides two panels:
remote device (right panel) and local Windows PC (left panel).

Also allows commands to be run on a remote system.

At the time this technical note was written, the WinSCP tool could be downloaded
from http://winscp.net/eng/download.php.

D.20 RIO and Windows PC connected to a network.
•
An admin user configured on the D.20 RIO using d20riocfg. The admin user is used to
login into D.20 RIO using WinScp for copying files from D.20 RIO to Windows PC.
NOTE
The following procedure was verified with WinSCP version 5.1.1.
