Setting Up the D.20 RIO
There are two software components of the D.20 RIO:
•
Online HMI: A web-based interface that is used to configure connections to peripheral
clients, edit client map files, configure system options, and view point status
•
D.20 RIO Configuration Utility: A command-line utility that is used to configure device
parameters
D.20 RIO devices communicate natively only with D400 firmware version 3.20 or higher.
Users planning on connecting an existing D400 units to a D.20 RIO must contact GE
Customer Service to either upgrade hardware through the RMA process or use the
Upgrade Manager. D400 upgrade kits are also available for order though GE Digital
Energy's Online store.
Table 14 indicates the compatibility between D400 and D.20 RIO firmware versions.
