A combination of two configuration files are used to configure the controller for a particular machine model.
The first file that must be loaded is the

Machine Definition

file, this specifies the type of machine, the IO

mapping, and the features of the machine. The second file that is loaded is the

Machine Config File

, this

specifies a particular variant of the chosen machine, for example the voltage and power variant for a variable
speed machine.
