6)
The rapid flashing (about three times a second) on the
unassigned
Stations will
only be visible while the conveyance is in a landing.
7)
Do not operate Stations while setting the lift up except to assign them to a landing.
The lift may be Set-up using the Call Stations. If this is necessary, call Garaventa
Technical Support for help.
8)
Start with the conveyance at the lowest landing or position Zero (0). This is
NOT
the lower Storage position (position # -1, if supplied), it is the lowest position at
which the lift users will load and unload the platform. If the conveyance has been
installed above an
intermediate
landing, it must be moved to the bottom landing
(position #0) to establish that landing position first. In this case, run the lift past the
intermediate landing with the interlock cam removed, and proceed to a point close
to the lower landing. Do not enter the landing or bottom the lift out on the floor.
9)
The Artira is flexible enough to allow you to assign any number of Call Stations to
any given landing. At the Station assigning stage of the Setup procedure, simply
select the additional Stations by pushing any button on those Stations with the
Conveyance in the adjacent landing.
This is the end of the
Set-up Procedure
. The Set-up Procedure may be repeated if
necessary by starting with item 1 above, or read the following section regarding resetting
landings.
Resetting Landings:
In some cases, it may be necessary to reset the position of the landings in an
Artira
lift.
This is if the lift is moved using the Hand-crank system for more than 30mm distance
with the power turned off. The following procedure allows you to change the landing
positions without having to re-assign all of the landings and Stations.
Remember that you cannot use this procedure to reset a system when changing a PCB.
PCB replacement requires that the
Setup
procedure be completed. See also note #1
above.
Lifts that detect an error in the landing positions will stop operating and indicate a RED
“SENSOR FLT” light on the Drive PCB.
To initiate the Landing Reset procedure, locate the
“LANDING RESET”
button on the top
right hand side on the Drive PCB,
BELOW
the Setup button. Press the button for
SIX
seconds. If the “SENSOR FLT” is on, it will start to flash. This engages the LANDING
Setup mode of the
Setup procedure
. All of the Stations and conveyance controls work as
normal except that the lift will only travel at medium speed and all landing positions will
be ignored.
