*
Station direction buttons will stop flashing and instead will pulse on and off (the lights
flash briefly once every second) and indicate that the fold command is now available. Do
not fold the platform.
* That Station is now assigned to the lower landing.
* The lights on all other (unassigned) Stations will continue to flash rapidly. Do not
assign those Stations.
If required, you may assign any number of call Stations to the lower landing, or any other
landing, by pressing any button on the additional Stations, while the Conveyance in that
landing. However, you must remember, all Stations assigned to a particular landing will
allow folding and unfolding at that landing only.
Run the lift to the next landing using the Conveyance controls. Once the conveyance
leaves the lower landing cam, the remaining UNASSIGNED Call Stations in the system
will stop flashing. This is normal and simply means that they cannot be assigned until the
lift reaches the next landing. The lift will speed up to normal running speed after it leaves
the lower landing zone. As it approaches the approximate position of the next landing, It
will slow down in anticipation of engaging the interlock cam. Do not allow it to hit the cam
yet. Go to the cam and make any final adjustments required to allow it to properly
engage the appropriate pin on the back of the hanger. Check that the cam is in the
approximate location so that the uphill or stair side ramp interlock will open.
Once you are satisfied that the cam is lined up, run into the landing until the lift stops. Do
not release the direction control until the lift stops. Bring the conveyance into the landing
while watching its progress to the stop point. When the conveyance stops it sets the
landing loading/unloading position. Unlike the lower landing, a second entry into the
landing is
not
necessary. Check this by releasing the direction control and allowing the
ramp to lower and the arm to open. The ramp should be slightly angled down to the
landing. If more adjustment is required, you may do this by moving the cam. Each time
the cam is moved, the lift automatically re-establishes that landing position. Remember
that adjustments greater than plus or minus 30mm will require that you complete the
Landing Reset
or the
Setup
procedure again.
Go to the adjacent Station and push any button to assign that Station to that landing.
Also, see note 9 below when assigning more than one Station to a landing.
* Station Lights change from rapid Flash to slow, short, pulse. You will have the option
to fold the Platform. Do not fold the Platform.
You may assign additional Stations to this landing at this time if you wish.
Repeat last operation for all remaining Landings and Stations.
