Run the conveyance to the lower landing.
CAUTION: DO NOT RUN THE LIFT INTO
THE LOWER FLOOR.
The lift will
not
stop on the lower limit cam by itself while it is in
this mode. This is because the Proximity Sensors and the landing positioning systems
are disabled. You will notice that the Sensor light is flashing indicating that the lift
position system is not operating.
If there are landing cams between you and the lower landing, don’t worry, they will be
ignored. Simply continue to hold the direction button to travel to the lowest landing
(position zero). Bring the conveyance into the desired lower landing position and stop it
there. Double-check this position, because you will be setting it as the new lower landing
location. This position does not have to be exact. However, the conveyance ramp
interlock pin must be on the landing cam.
Once you are happy with the landing position, go to the “LANDING RESET” button on
the Drive PCB and press it briefly (for less than 2 seconds). This establishes the new
lower landing stopping position and the positions of all the other landings and corners in
the system. The lift will now return to normal operating mode. If the “SENSOR FLT” light
comes on again, refer to the
Trouble-shooting
section of this manual under “Drive
indicators” and “SENSOR FLT”.
Figure 33.
This shows the SETUP and LANDING RESET
buttons on the Drive PCB.
