f) Remove the oven enclosure from the crate.
g) Remove the plastic wrap from the control, cabinet and oven cabinet.
h) Open the control cabinet doors and
carefully
remove the packing material from inside
the cabinet.
i) Remove the oven cabinet lid and carefully remove the packing material from inside the
cabinet.
Care should be taken while removing the cabinet packing material so that
no hardware or wiring is damaged.
j) Inspect the internal equipment to ensure that no damage has occurred and that no
components have become loose during transport.
If any damage is visible contact Galvanic Applied Sciences Inc. immediately and do not
proceed with the system installation. Do not attempt to facilitate repairs yourself as this
will negate and/or invalidate any possible insurance claim or equipment warranty.
k) If no damage is apparent, the analyzer system is ready for transport to the installation
(sample point) site.
2.4 Installation Steps
The user should read each step and make certain that it is fully understood
before proceeding to installing the analyzer.
2.4.1 Mounting of the Oven Cabinet
The oven cabinet is supported by a cradle that mounts to the process pipe structure. The
oven must be situated such that the probe opening in the bottom of the cabinet aligns with
the process connection. See Figure 2-1 for mounting details.
The steam jacketed ball valve must be installed on the process sample point before mounting
the analyzer system.
2.4.2 Mounting of the Control Cabinet
The framework of the control cabinet must be securely attached to a support structure at the
mounting site. The control cabinet must be mounted a distance away from the oven cabinet such
that the path for the fiber optics cables does not exceed 6 meters.
See Figure 2-2 for mounting
details.
