■
Operation Mode Selection
In this screen, select the operation mode.
Procedure
1
Click [Set Copy Path] in [Action].
•
Copy path information files cannot be applied to the ETERNUS DX Disk
storage system when the port mode of the port set in the copy path
information does not match the port mode of the adapter installed in the
ETERNUS DX Disk storage system to be applied to. Modify the copy
path information or switch the port mode on the ETERNUS DX Disk
storage system in advance. Refer to
"9.2.3.11 Modify Port Mode" (page
for switching port modes.
•
Before performing the [Get Round Trip Time] function, set a physical
path properly between the ETERNUS DX Disk storage systems. When
a copy path has an error, the round trip time cannot be measured
correctly.
•
It takes a maximum of 160 seconds to measure the round trip time.
•
Only copy path information files created/saved with this function can be
loaded with this function.
•
Only the device information files that are exported/saved by following
the procedure in
"8.2.11 Export Storage Information" (page 240)
can be
loaded for the Set Copy Path function.
•
To delete the copy path information of a local device, delete all the copy
path information of the local device by following the procedure in
Delete All Copy Path" (page 238)
and then use the Set Copy Path
function to apply the copy path information. The copy path information of
the local device is initialized.
•
The round trip time can be measured only between the local device and
a remote device that has a physical path to the local device. When a
copy path is created between remote devices, apply a copy path
information file to the applicable device before measuring the round trip
time.
•
The round trip time can be measured only when the connection type is
"Remote".
•
To change the measured round trip time, refer to
