PAPER HANDLING

To load paper from the cut sheet feeder:

1. Make sure that the printer is turned on and continuous forms

are retracted to the park position.  (For details, see the section

Unloading Continuous Forms

 later in this chapter.)

2. Press the PAPER PATH button to select CUT SHEET (the

indicator lights).

3. Press the FRONT DIR button to select the direction of ejecting

cut sheets.

• Front ejection

FRONT indicator lights.

• Rear ejection

FRONT indicator doesn’t lights.

4. Prepare the feeder as follows:

Preparing the cut sheet feeder (Front)

• Lift up the paper table
• Attach the cut sheet feeder, locating it on the guide pins.

Adjust the letter A labeled on the cut sheet feeder to the
letter A labeled on the printer

• Put the paper table on the cut sheet feeder.
