Imaging

To use the ECG feature

1

Select the cardiac exam type on the P10xp, P21xp, or TEExp transducer (see 

“Selecting a transducer 

and exam type”

 on page 2-14).

Connect the ECG cable to the ECG port on the ultrasound system. 

ECG tracing is enabled automatically.

Cautions

Use only accessories recommended by FUJIFILM SonoSite with the system. 
Connecting an accessory not recommended by FUJIFILM SonoSite can damage 
the system.

If you defibrillate a patient while the ECG module is connected to the system, the 
ECG signal may display incorrectly, and the ECG module may need to be 
replaced.

Note

The ECG signal may take up to one minute to restabilize after defibrillator use

on a patient.
