3.3 CentreWare Internet Services
Use CentreWare Internet Services to monitor the status of your network printer without leaving your desk. You
can view and/or change the printer settings, monitor toner level, and acknowledge the timing of ordering
replacement consumables.

• This feature is available only when the printer is connected to a network.
3.3.1
Preparing to Use CentreWare Internet
Services
Perform the following procedure to configure both the environment settings of your web browser and the
operator panel before using CentreWare Internet Services.
Setting Up Your Web Browser
Specifying the printer's IP address in the web browser is recommended.
Note
• If you specify the printer's IP address using a proxy server, the service response time may be slow or the screens may not
appear. If these problems occur, you will need to set the printer's IP address in the web browser and choose not to use a
proxy server. See your web browser's manual for how to make the setting.
Confirming the Menu on the Operator Panel
You can start CentreWare Internet Services only when [Internet Services] is enabled on the operator panel.
Check the operator panel setting if you cannot start CentreWare Internet Services.

Starting CentreWare Internet Services
To start CentreWare Internet Services, enter the printer's IP address in the address bar of your web browser.
