The following explains how to load C5 envelopes as an example.
1.
Load the envelopes with the address side
facing up and the edge with the flaps facing
toward you. Make sure that the flaps are
closed.
2.
Adjust the paper guides to the size of the
envelopes.
3.
Push the tray 1 all the way into the printer.
Important
• When inserting the tray, be careful not to get your
fingers caught between the tray and the printer.
4.
Set the size and type of the envelopes on
the control panel.

Printing on Envelopes
The following procedure uses Windows XP WordPad as an example.

• The method of displaying the properties dialog box varies depending on the application being used.
Consult the documentation for your application.
1.
On the [File] menu, click [Print].
2.
Select the printer from the [Select Printer] list box, and click [Preferences].
