Turn the right side of the fuser unit toward
the rear of printer, and insert the right notch
into the holder inside the printer.
8.
Close the front cover.
Important
• When closing the front cover, be careful not to get your
fingers caught between (the left, right, top, or bottom
edge of) the cover and the printer.
Resetting the Counter
If you are finished replacing the fuser unit, reset its counter on the control panel.
1.
Press the < > and <Eject/Set> buttons
simultaneously.
[Consumables Menu] is displayed.
2.
Press the < > button.
[Counter Reset] is displayed.
3.
Press the < > or <Eject/Set> button to
accept the selection.
[Fuser] is displayed.
4.
Press the < > or <Eject/Set> button to
accept the selection.
The confirmation screen is displayed.
5.
Press the <Eject/Set> button.
The resetting of the counter starts. When
finished, the display returns to the screen
shown on the right.
6.
Press < > button until [Ready to Print] is
displayed.
