Robotics tasks
The following tasks are available for the Robotics welding process:
The Robotics tasks are similar to MIG/MAG tasks. See here for detailed information.
For all training
courses
Touch "Next" in the task overview to save and name the training course
An input window with a virtual keyboard for naming the training course appears. The name
of the training course should contain a reference to the workpiece type and welding posi-
tion.
Travel Speed
The trainee practises guiding the welding torch at the correct speed and in the correct po-
sition.
Speed / Stick out
In addition to the welding speed, the trainee also practises guiding the welding torch to
the workpiece with the correct stick out.
Speed / Stick out / Po-
sition
In addition to the welding speed and stick out, the trainee also practises guiding the weld-
ing torch with the torch in the correct position.
Simulation with fixed
parameters
The simulation provides a representation of real welding, with visualisation of the arc and
of the formation of the weld seam. The welding parameters of wire speed, amperage and
voltage are pre-set for this task. The trainee guides the welding torch freely, without re-
ceiving any guidance.
Simulation with varia-
ble parameters
Using the touchscreen, the trainee sets appropriate values for the voltage and welding
current welding parameters, according to the task.
The trainee guides the welding torch freely, without being guided by a target object.
