Sensor registra-
tion
Two authorisation cards are supplied with each Virtual Welding system. They are used to
access terminal management or the setup menu in order to enter settings. When the sys-
tem is first installed, the authorisation card can be used to create an administrator or a user.
The user accesses a simplified menu structure with a restricted range of settings options.
This reduces the complexity for less experienced users and also protects against acciden-
tal deletion of important data. Additional authorisation cards can be added by administra-
tors or users at any time, as described below.
The "Sensor registration" menu item is used to add and remove authorisation cards. The
position of the sensor on the StandUp terminal and the MobileCase can be found in the
following section:
-
"Controls and connection sockets" under "Touchscreen and sensor" or "Controls and
connection sockets on the Mobile Case"
NOTE!
To ensure the Virtual Welding system is fully functional, at least one authorisation
card for administrators must be taught-in, as explained below.
