Press the torch trigger
Execute the reference weld, matching the periodic welding torch movements as close-
ly as possible to the previously defined record grid, as shown in the illustration below
For better guidance, unobtrusive lines indicate the correct welding speed. The reference
weld can be started at any point on the workpiece.
To view the welding process again, select "Playback"
Touch the Start/Stop button:

to start playback of the recording

to stop playback
You can use the slider to move to any point in the recording
If it is no longer needed, remove the "Playback" field by touching the cross symbol
If the reference weld proves unsatisfactory, touch "Repeat" to carry out a new refer-
ence weld.
Once the reference weld has been completed, it can be optimised in many different ways.
The Variable Ghost becomes an ideal template for the trainee.

The first optimisation option is the selection of the starting point for the optimal oscillation
of the reference weld.
