General

Safety
WARNING!
Work that is carried out incorrectly can cause serious injury or damage.
The activities described below must only be carried out by trained and qualified personnel.
Observe the safety rules in the Virtual Welding operating instructions.
WARNING!
An electric shock can be fatal.
The neutral conductor is fused. If the fuse has blown, parts in the housing interior may still
be live. In all cases, whether the fuse has blown or not, before opening the device

Move the mains switch to the "O" position
►
Unplug the device from the mains
►
Put up an easy-to-understand warning sign to stop anybody inadvertently switching it
back on again
►
Using a suitable measuring instrument, ensure that electrically charged parts (e.g. ca-
pacitors) have been discharged
CAUTION!
Inadequate PE conductor connections can cause serious injury and damage.
The housing screws provide a suitable PE conductor connection for earthing (grounding)
the housing and must NOT be replaced by any other screws which do not provide a reliable
PE conductor connection.
