The Fronius IG Plus is designed so that it does not require additional
maintenance.
However, there are a few points to keep in mind during operation to ensu-
re that the inverter functions optimally.

General
WARNING! An electrical shock can be fatal. Danger from
residual voltage from capacitors.
You must wait until the capacitors have discharged. Discharge
takes 5 minutes.
When operating the inverter in
extremely dusty environments:

the integrated fly screen as re-

mains voltage and DC voltage from solar modules.

The connection area should only be opened by a licensed
electrician.
- The separate power module area should only be discon-
nected from the connection area after first being discon-
nected from the mains power.
- The separate power module area should only be opened by
Fronius-trained service personnel.
Before making any connections, make sure that the AC and DC
sides are disconnected from the inverter.
The DC main switch is only used to switch off power to the
power module. When the DC main switch is turned off, the
connection area is still energized.
