Control Functions
Hand/Off/Auto (HOA) Controls
Placing the HOA switch into the Hand position manually starts the motor.
Placing the HOA switch in the off position stops the motor and also serves as a manual fault reset when left
in this position for 5 seconds.
Placing the HOA switch in Auto mode allows for remote starting and stopping of the motor.
Fill/Drain using Float Switches
(MT1311/MT2211 only)
Connect optional float (or other) switching devices to the Dry Input connector. Low Float or Auto Run leads
connect to D1 and SG. High Float or Shutdown leads connect to D2 and SG.
•
SG - Common/Signal Ground
•
D1 - Auto Run/Low Float (empty tank level indicator)
•
D2 - Shut Down/High Float (full tank level indicator)
Together, the two dry inputs can be utilized for float switch operation. The float switch can operate in either
Fill Mode or Drain Mode. The float switches should be configured to be open/off when the sensor is floating
on the water, and closed/on when not floating.
Examples of uses:
•
Tanks
•
Pond/lagoon levels
•
Pumping stations (Irrigation, BMS Control)
•
Industrial applications (Programmable Logic Controller)
•
Water treatment systems
Fill Mode refers to using the pump to fill a storage tank.
