If the sequence of motor leads is correct (matches Starting Sequence in the following table), reroute the
sequence of motor wires going through the sensors (and L1, L2, and L3) to match the Rotate Clockwise 1
column. If “No Sig” or “Low Sig” continue to display, reroute the motor leads and L1, L2, and L3 to match the
Rotate Clockwise 2 column.

SubTemp Temperature Setpoint
1.
Set the SubTemp temperature Alarm to 70 °C.
2. Set the SubTemp temperature Fault to 85 °C.
3. If SubMonitor Connect (under normal operating conditions) faults at 85 °C, check the following before
contacting your installer.
a. Proper water flow around motor
b. Verify all other SubMonitor Connect protective features are set correctly (SFA, Power, Current
Imbalance, etc.
c. Discharge valve open
If setup of Pump-Motor-Assembly (PMA) and the SubMonitor Connect appear to be in accordance with
Franklin Electric recommendations, please contact your installer and Franklin Electric representative.
