Installation of the Pipe Wiper

Preparations/Requirements

•  The Pipe Wiper is lying on plane surface.
•  The correct size Wiper has been chosen.
•  PS-500 is not mounted to the Rotary Table.
•  All hydraulic connections of the PS-500 are

disconnected.

•  Lift Beam Assembly (Hook Up Kit P/N 775002-2).
•  The Pipe Wiper is open.
•  The Wiper fixation is retracted.

Installation Procedure

1. Place the Pipe Wiper on a plane surface.

2. Open the Pipe Wiper by loosening the securing bolt.

3. Attach Lift Beam Assembly to the PS-500

. Follow

instructions in chapter 3.3.4.

4. Lift the PS-500 slightly to tension the lifting ropes.

5. Lift the PS-500 and position the PS-500 coaxial to the

Pipe Wiper

6. Slowly lower the PS-500

on top of the Pipe Wiper.

7. Close and secure the Pipe Wiper.

8. Bolt the Piper Wiper together with the PS-500

Removal Procedure

1. Perform installation procedure in reverse order.
