Lifting Arrangements
DANGER
Safe Lifting!
Always make sure that load hooks are
fully installed to lifting points before
lifting.
3.3.1
HCGS
Use the attachment points marked with
q
, which are
located on the side of each HCGS module to open the
HCGS when the PS-500 is mounted to the Rotary Table.
Use the attachment points marked with
w
to transport the
HCGS when installing them to the PS-500
.
DANGER
Never use the HCGS lifting points
marked with
q
to lift the PS-500.
3.3.2
Insert Carrier and Slip Assembly
Insert Carriers can be removed only by using the Carrier
Lifting Tool (P/N 757070) from the Hook Up Kit
q
. When
screwing in, the tool pushes the Insert Carrier lock aside
and fixes it in this position. The Insert Carriers can now be
removed individually.
The Slip Assembly has to be attached at three points
w
.
All attachment points are located on top of each Slip
Assembly segment. FORUM Handling Tools recommends
using the Slip Gear (P/N 755662) from the Hook Up Kit.
3.3.3
Hinge Pins and Door
To remove the Hinge Pin, screw a lifting eye into the Hinge
Pin first. Carefully pull out the Hinge Pin with a crane.
Always focus on the need not to wedge the Hinge Pin.
When attaching the Door, you have to remove the Door
Hydraulic Cover (shown transparently) and both Door Pins.
Therefore, loosen all three screws and washers. Screw a
lifting eye into the bore, which is located on top of the
Door. Attach the Lifting Sling (Hook Up Kit - P/N 755661)
to the lifting eye and remove the Door by lifting the door
gently and sliding it out of the door hinges.
