Testing in Smart Remote Mode

Use Smart Remote mode to test and certify dual-fiber
cabling. In this mode, the tester measures loss, length, and
propagation delay on two fibers at two wavelengths in one
or both directions.

Figure 7-5 shows the equipment required for loss/length
testing in Smart Remote mode.
