Getting Started with CableManager Software

Installing Software Upgrades

Connect the instrument to the PC using a 9-pin to 9-pin or 9-pin to 25-pin PC
interface cable.

3.

 

Start CableManager on the PC.

4.

 

Click on 

(

Software Update

).

5.

 

When prompted for the location of the software update source file, enter the
path to the DSPx_xx.bin file on your C drive; then click on 

Open

.

6.

 

When the test tool software is installed, connect the PC interface cable to your

remote unit and turn the remote on. In the CableManager window, click on 
(

Software Update

).

7.

 

Select the file SRx_xx.bin as the software update source file for the remote;
then click on 

Open

 to install the new software in your remote.
