5. Place the end of the 9-Tube Assembly into
a container to catch the expelled syrup and
water during the Clean-In-Place procedure.

6. Brush and clean the Syrup Line Manifold,
Duckbill Check Valve, and Coupler Body
with detergent water. Use the Medium
Brush on the Coupler and outer surfaces of
the Manifold. Use the Detail Brush on the
Check Valve, the valve openings and the
syrup ports of the Manifold. (See
Figure 63.)

7. Rinse the Syrup Line Manifold, Duckbill
Check Valve, and Coupler Body, and then
place them in
McD Sanitizer (HCS)
. Allow
these items to soak throughout the
upcoming processes. (See Figure 64.)

UNTIL ALL 8 SYRUP LINES HAVE BEEN
FLUSHED.
8. Using a single service towel under the
Syrup Bag Connector, disconnect the
Connector from the Syrup Bag Adapter by
pressing down on the lever and pulling it
away from the Syrup Bag Adapter. (See
Figure 65.)
