Please note
Valve plates with Ident. code X, 3/2−way valve:
This valve does not depend on supply connection 1 of
the valve terminal. With this valve compressed air or
vacuum is connected at connection 4. The valve is ex
hausted via connection 3. Pilot air is supplied via the
valve terminal.
Valve plates with Ident. code I, 2 x 2/2−way valves:
With this valve plate vacuum is supplied at connection 5.
Connection 5 is switched by valve solenoid coil 14. The
operating pressure is provided at connection 2 and can
be used as a reject pulse. Connection 2 is switched by
valve solenoid coil 12.
Operate these valve plates on CPA−SC valve terminals,
which are also fitted with other valve plates, in a separ
ate pressure zone with separate exhaust channel 5.
3.5 Connecting the CPA−SC valve terminal/individual location base
block
Warning
Sudden unexpected movements of the connected actua
tors and uncontrollable movements of loose tubing can
cause injury to human beings and damage to property.
Before carrying out installation and/or maintenance work,
switch off the following:
the compressed air supply
the operating and load voltage supplies.
Observe the following:
The components of the valve terminals contain electrostati
cally sensitive elements. The components may be damaged if
the contact surfaces of the plug connectors are touched and
if the regulations for handling electrostatically sensitive el
ements are not observed.
