1.1.1 Overview of variants
The CPA−SC series is available in the following pneumatic
variants:
Pneumatic variants

Sub−base valve

Semi−inline valves

The diagrams show the pneumatic variants using the example of the CPA valve terminal.
These apply also for the CPA−SC individual location base block.

The base blocks for the valve variants are different:
Base blocks for sub−base valves have work connections (2, 4)
Base blocks for semi−inline valves have
no
work connections, as these are situated on the semi−
inline valves. Semi−inline valves can also be fitted onto base blocks for sub−base valves. In this
case the relevant work connections on the base block must be sealed.

Base blocks for sub−base valves and semi−inline valves are available for the following pilot
variants:
Base blocks for internal pilot air. Recognition feature: connection 12 has a ball bearing.
Base blocks for external pilot air. Recognition feature: connecton 12 has a thread.
