6.2 Removing the speed sensor and spoke magnet

Always use needle-nose pliers to pull the plugs straight out of the corresponding connection.
Be careful not to twist or bend the connectors.
Step 1: Disconnecting the speed sensor cable from the BOTTOM BRACKET
→
Pull the speed sensor plug (3) out of the green
marked left connection on the BOTTOM BRACKET
using the needle-nose pliers.
→
Pull the speed sensor cable out of the frame if
necessary.

Step 2: Removing the speed sensor
If you remove the rear wheel before
removing the speed sensor from
the frame, this will make it easier to
remove the speed sensor.
→
Loosen the fixing screw

with the Torx screw-
driver T20.
→
Remove the speed sensor (17) from its mounting
on the left chain stay.

Step 3: Removing the spoke magnet
→
Loosen the spoke screw (20) with the Phillips
screwdriver PH2.
→
Remove the spoke magnet (19) from the spoke.
