Inspect Cooler Fan
A visual inspection of the cooler fan is required
daily.
Personal injury can result from a fan blade failure.
Pulling or prying on the fan can damage the fan
blade and cause fan failure.
Check for cracks and bent or loose blades.
Check the fan to make sure it is securely mounted.
Tighten the bolts if necessary.
Replace any fan that is damaged.

DEF Lines (Pressure, Suction, & Return)
and the Supply Module are also electrical-
ly heated to thaw the DEF at very low tem-
peratures (DEF Freezes @ -11 °C (12 °F)).

Flush DEF Tank and Replace Filter

Remove drain plug (1) and drain the DEF tank into
a suitable container.

- Header and Hoses
Disconnect the hoses (2) going into the header.
Disconnect the wires from sensor (3).
Remove the header (4).
Flush the tank clean of debris and contamination.
Replace the DEF tank filter (5).
Reinstall the header.
Reconnect the hoses to the header.
Replace drain plug (1) and fill the tank with new
clean DEF.
