Show Boat
This checkbox toggles the display of the boat graphic inside the 3D Sonar Display.
Profile Selector Angle Relative to Vessel Heading
When selected, the profile selector's angle indicator in the 3D View will be relative to the vessel's heading.
For example, if the vessel heading is 243° and the profile selector is angled 15° to starboard, then the profile
selector's indicator will read 258°. When not selected, the indicator will be relative to the bow. In all cases,
the indicator in the 2D View is relative to the bow.
True Target Motion™
With True Target Motion™ enabled, SonaSoft™ will use the NMEA data provided to it to update the 3D
Sonar Display and the Chart Display in real time. For the 3D Sonar Display, this means that the seafloor
and any in-water targets will move relative to to the displayed vessel and field of view's location. In the
Chart Display, the vessel and the field of view will move relative to the chart and the overlayed seafloor
and in-water target data.
Note
To use this feature, position, heading, speed over ground, and course over ground information
must all be available to SonaSoft™ at at least 1 Hz, and rate of turn must be available at at
least 10 Hz.
