Applying an S-57/63 Support License
After purchasing the license it must be applied so that the 'ENCImporter' can be used to import S-57/63
charts. Open the 'Chart Manger' and go to the "Licenses" tab at the top of the panel shown in Figure 24.
Use the "Selected database" dropdown to choose "Software Modules" and click "Add manually".

From this window choose "V3CATMGR (Import S57)" from the list of modules. Then copy the license number
into the "License" field and click the "Add License" button.
ENCImporter
The ENCImporter imports S-57/63 charts for use within SonaSoft™.

The steps to using S-57 charts are as follows:
• First, locate the "ENCImporter.exe" in the "C:/Program Files (x86)/FarSounder/SonaSoft*/bin/"
directory. Right click and select "Run as Administrator".
