Semi-Annual Inspections
In addition to items in previous inspections, check these items at least two (2) times throughout the year.
(Allow a few months to pass between each inspection unless weather conditions, weather-related events, or

Inspect all material for worn or damaged areas. Repair as needed and as instructed by your sales representative.
Using proper wrench (or socket and ratchet), check all mounting plate bolts to ensure these are tight and intact.
Verify that building contents are not touching or rubbing against material.
Inspect building components for damage resulting from use or environmental conditions. Repair or replace
damaged components as instructed by your sales representative.
Consult the maintenance and care information included with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components
such as motor. Service these items as instructed in the documentation included with those items. Contact OEM for
replacement parts and additional servicing information.
Inspect cables and monofilament wire to ensure these are tight and intact. Replace worn, broken, or missing wire
and cable immediately.

Proper care of your greenhouse is important and helps prolong the life of its components. Complete these items
periodically to properly care for your greenhouse:
Perform all inspections as previously instructed.
Remove debris and objects that may accumulate on building roof or blackout material. Use tools that will not
damage roof panels or blackout material when removing debris.
Do not climb or stand on frame or roof at anytime.
Never hang anything from any component of blackout system.
If needed, contact your sales representative for replacement parts, or for answers to your blackout system care
and maintenance questions.
Service all OEM components according to information provided by manufacturer.

Record all inspections in a log book for reference and warranty inquiries.
