PRELIMINAR

Ethernet protocol settings

The IP Settings/Options screen (fi gure 5-5 on page 5-6) provides a location for
viewing and, if connected via the RS-232 link or if logged on via the Ethernet port
as an administrator, editing settings unique to the Ethernet interface.

later in this chapter for more details.

Using the software

Many items found in the Matrix Switcher Control Program are also accessible
via optional front panel controls (see chapter 3,

Operation

) and under SIS control

(see chapter 4,

SIS Programming and Control

). The Matrix Switcher Help Program

provides information on settings and on how to use the control program itself.

To run the Matrix Switcher Control Program, select

Start > Programs > Extron

Electronics > Matrix Switchers > MATRIX S Control Pgm

The Comm Port Selection window (fi gure 5-1) appears.
