Media Presentation Matrix Switcher, cont’d

Front Panel Controls

Input and output buttons

select inputs and

outputs. Input and output LEDs light to
indicate video and audio ties.

Input and output buttons also select presets.

Output buttons also toggle video and audio

mutes on and off in View-Only mode.

Input LEDs also display the selected output’s

volume.

Output LEDs also display the selected input’s

audio level.

Enter button

saves changes.

Preset button selects:

Save Preset

mode to save a confi guration as a

preset.

Recall Preset

mode to recall a previously-

defi ned preset.

View button

selects a view-only mode that

prevents inadvertent confi guration changes.
The View button also decrements the level
and volume. See

Viewing and adjusting the

audio level

in the next column.

Esc button

cancels selections in progress and

resets the front panel button indications.
The Esc button does

not

reset: the current

confi guration, the video and audio selection,
any presets, or any audio level or volume
settings. The Esc button also increments the
level and volume. See

Video and Audio buttons

select/deselect video

and/or audio. The Audio LED blinks to
indicate audio breakaway. The Audio button
also selects the audio level/adjust mode.

Select an input format

Inputs 11 through 14 are confi gurable as either
composite video or S-video as follows:

. Press and release the Esc button.

. Press

and

hold

the Video button until the

Video LED starts to blink. Release the button.

. Select the input to confi gure by pressing and

releasing one of the Input 11 through Input 14
buttons.

Either the Output 7 LED or the Output 8 LED
lights to indicate selected format:

Output 7

= Composite video

Output 8

= S-video

. Press and release either the Output 7 button

(

to select composite video

) or the Output 8

button (

to select S-video

5. Press and release the Video button to exit.

Create a tie

. Press and release the Esc button.

. Press and release the Video and/or

Audio I/O button(s) to select or deselect
video and/or audio as desired.

. Press and release the desired input button.

. Press and release the desired output button(s).

. Press and release the Enter button. All input

and output LEDs and the Enter LED go out.

Saving or recalling a preset

Save

a preset — Press and

hold

the Preset

button for 2 seconds until the Preset LED
starts to blink. Release the button.

Recall

a preset — Press and release the Preset

button. The Preset LED lights.

. Press and release the desired input or output

button.

. Press and release the Enter button.

Viewing and adjusting the audio level

. Press

and

hold

the Audio button.

. Press an input or output button. See chapter 3

to read the displayed value.

. Increase and decrease the level by pressing

the Esc (
